Technical Error SMS/App Messaging 30 January 2026

We are aware of a technical error at the surgery. Due to a system issue on Friday January 30th 2026, some text messages were sent displaying an incorrect surname. We are aware of this issue, and you do not need to contact the surgery to inform us.

We want to reassure you that the only information involved was a surname; no other personal or clinical details were shared.

We recognise the importance of data security and take this matter very seriously. We are working with our IT providers and are investigating how this occurred and will take steps to prevent this happening again.

We apologise for any concern caused.
