In line with recent guidance we would like to encourage all patients entering the surgery to wear a mask or face covering. This will help to protect patients and staff alike.
We have launched our new online consultation service.
This service will allow patients to submit any medical or administrative query, quicker & easier than calling the surgery.

Welcome to Narrowcliff Surgery Online

Background
Narrowcliff surgery is a purpose-built surgery which opened in 1995.
We care for approximately 15 000 patients.
The building offers access for the disabled.
There are nine partners at the surgery offering general medical services as well as contraceptive advice, child health surveillance, maternity care and minor surgical procedures.
We operate a personal list system where patients are allocated to a specific doctor and we endeavour to ensure you see your usual doctor whenever possible.
You have a right to express a preference to receive services from a particular doctor. However, we cannot guarantee this will be possible at all times.
We also host students from the Peninsula Medical School. Prior agreement will be requested from you if a student will be present during your consultation.
Support Staff
The practice is managed by Susan Beadle, who oversees the running of the practice.
Susan is supported by our reception team whose roles and duties include reception, dealing with prescriptions and enquiries.
Green Impact for Health Toolkit
This practice is delighted to be signed up to the Green Impact for Health Toolkit and is actively taking steps to reduce our carbon footprint. The climate emergency is also a health emergency, and health care in the UK contributes 5.4% of the UK's carbon emissions.
We need to enhance the health of our current population without compromising the health of future generations, and this means operating within the sustainable boundaries of the planet.
Fortunately most of the solutions for the planet also make our health better - for example eating a mainly plant-based diet, engaging in active travel and exercise in nature, avoiding smoking, reducing pollution etc all enhance our health and reduce our need for medications, with further benefits to the NHS, your health and the carbon footprint of healthcare.
Take a look at www.greenerpractice.co.uk/ to learn more about this.
